Movies Infographics Collection

Illustrators have been doing a great job with infographics, and these are getting cooler these days. There are tons of awesome pieces all over the internet, but the ones I like the best are the movies ones.

Emotions and Facial Expressions

Novartis "Reflections" Campaign

Commercial advertising photographer Tom Hussey photographed an award winning campaign for Novartis' Exelon Patch, a prescription medicine for the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer’s dementia. The highly conceptual photographs depicted an older person looking at the reflection of their younger self in a mirror.

The Greatest Brandversations

This is a project about brands - the great brands of the modern world - which have build quite a history for themselves as the years went by .

There have always existed disputes among the competing parties, divergent opinions, while the fans of each brand were convinced that theirs was the best product. Last, but not least, the rivals have even conducted ad campaigns against the competing brands. This project mostly approaches the visual "conversations" between the company logos and the ways that they influence each other, hence the name of the project, Brandversations. It is a parallel between the modern and the old, some of the slogans dating back to the 40s and 50s.

I have switched the slogans of the brands amongst themselves, the goal of this being to give them further meaning and to create a sort of a confusion. It is surprising how logos can influence other logos. The truth is that each pair of rivals has something in common, that something which has helped them to build one identity upon the other, this way becoming the biggest brands.

Completing this project has taken a lot of time and a lot of patience on my part. Each little bit of the final image has been moved and resized manually in order to maintain a correct and balanced composition and layout of the elements.

Mini Cooper

One of the selling points for Mini Cooper Clubman – the Mini that is roomier yet still cute — is that it has room for some luggage. The Clubman’s luggage compartment measures 9.2 cubic feet (the basic Mini has only 6 cubic feet) and has a cargo cover as standard equipment. Clubman’s split-folding back seats can be lowered to increase the cargo space to 32.8 cubic feet that will accommodate not just basic luggage but even a snowboard or baby stroller.

Art director Maximilian Pinegger and copywriter Justin Salice-Stephan, two 24-year-old's from Miami Ad School took this feature to hart and created a cute airport luggage carousel guerrilla ad for the car and its roomy trunk. Many well-known brands and agencies support ad schools, most likely looking for indications of the next Alex Bogusky. - Tuija Seipell.

IKEA Installs An Apartment In Paris Subway Station

From January 9th to the 14th frequenters of the Auber metro station in France’s capital, will get a glimpse into the daily routines of five of their fellow Parisians. For six days, this IKEA “apartment” will be the home of these individuals. The fully furnished space was developed by creative agency Ubi Bene to highlight how IKEA furniture is compatible with small spaces. The project is called “The IKEA Apartment – 54 Square-Meter Ideas to Life,” and is not the first time IKEA has made its presence known in the Parisian metro. In 2010 metro stations St. Lazare, Champs-Elysées Clémenceau, Concorde, and Opéra were furnished with sofas and lamps for two weeks.

Really cool printed/animated business card

Seventh Generation Packaging

Anything that cuts our plastic consumption can be considered among the most important of brand initiatives, in this or any year. It may not be a perfect solution (there’s still a plastic liner) but the Seventh Generation paper-based cartons reduce plastic by a reported 66% and set an important precedent for packaged good marketers.

Cleaning windows.

It’s an ad for Nikol brand window-cleaning wet wipes, from agency Gitam BBDO Israel. The campaign uses some famous, smooshed faces to remind consumers to "Stop Using Newspapers" when cleaning their glass surfaces. It’s a touch confusing, but presumably the message is that you’re leaving residue of the day’s news on your windows.
